Put Your Career in the Fast Lane!

TeamMates is a networking initiative of the Sports Physical Therapy Section of the APTA. The purpose is to help new and experienced members of the SPTS connect for discussions, introductions, mentoring, and networking opportunities at conferences.

The TeamMates reception at CSM 2015 in Indianapolis will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. It will be held in the White River Ballroom F of the JW Marriott.

When you pre-register, you may participate as a "rookie" or a "captain" in a TeamMate group.

Rookies:

•       New sports PTs and PTAs in the first 5 years of practice

•       Current students

•       Professionals with a recent career change to sports physical therapy in past 2 – 3 years

•       Rookies may be SPTS members or interested in learning more about the Section.

**Due to program popularity, if you have previously participated as a rookie in TeamMates we invite you to attend as a walk-in attendee instead of a registered guest. Please allow new participants to use the available spaces to be matched.

Captains:

•       SPTS members with 5+ years of experience in sports physical therapy

•       SPTS members who have completed a sports residency or fellowship or currently hold their SCS

•       Participants should be willing to meet new or first time members and foster introductions between other SPTS members.

Pre-registered rookies and captains will receive contact information via email prior to attending CSM to introduce each other in advance of the meeting.

To participate in the TeamMates program, please RSVP by Friday, January 30.  After that date, we will no longer formally match participants, but encourage you to drop by to meet us!

FREE Admission will be granted to the first 100 “rookies” and 50 “captains” that register by the Jan 24th deadline. After those spots are filled, admission will be $10, paid at the door.
